and his crew for home renovations. Mr. McIsaac
recently completed our unfinished basement. He and
his crew were of the highest quality. They arrived
promptly every day. Their work was meticulous and
before leaving every night left the basement clean and
organized.
Damien and his crew were extremely pleasant to work with
and professional at all times. The job took
approximately 8 weeks. We thoroughly enjoy our new
basement and would recommend Dragonfly Contracting to

We recently contracted with Damien
McIsaac and his firm, Dragonfly Contracting, to renovate
our basement. The work involved finishing the
stairway, creating a central hallway, an office (including
built in shelves and a storage cupboard), a bedroom
(including a wall to wall closet), a darkroom, two
separate storage rooms and a three piece bathroom.
We are highly satisfied with the
finished product. Damien is thorough and meticulous,
paying great attention to detail and doing first rate
work. We were also pleased with the work of the
tradesmen who came in to assist him as required.
Damien was a delight to have in our
home; the work took approximately 8 weeks and we came to
regard him as a friend.

We are most pleased to be writing a
letter of reference on behalf of Damien McIsaac and
Dragonfly Contracting. We had a complete basement
design and construction in our home commencing early
December, 2003 and completed on schedule, as planned, in
January, 2004.Damien as
well as any subcontractors he introduced was at all times
courteous and most definitely competent in their specific
area of expertise. We especially liked the fact that
Damien, rather than play generalist for all aspects of
workmanship, chose to engage specialists for the
electrical, plumbing and tile flooring component of our
project. He did ensure that he was present to
introduce a new contractor and always ensured the security
of our residence by escorting them upon completion.
Damien took it upon himself to clean
up each and every day he was in our home to ensure as
little disruption as possible to our daily routine, and
was often arriving with coffees and snacks for his on-site
team as well as ourselves.
Damien is an excellent carpenter with
exceptional attention to detail. He strives to fully
understand the vision you have in mind and kept us
informed of his progress on a daily basis.
We would happily recommend Dragonfly
Contracting and would welcome his potential clients to
view his work first hand.

We needed a place for our kids to hang
out with their friends. Finishing our basement
became important. It was equally important that the
person who would finish it would have to be good.
Dragonfly Contracting came highly recommended. A
friend, who was familiar with the work that Damien and his
crew did, spoke specifically about the care to detail and
finish. As we met with Damien, amongst other
contractors that we spoke with, we got a good feeling from
Damien. He showed us photographs of jobs that had
been completed. During our conversation it was
obvious that we could work with Damien. He listened
to our plans about how we wanted our basement to look and
gave us excellent suggestions. After that first
meeting we decided to hire Damien. Damien told us
that he completes one job at a time and we liked that.
Damien told us it would take five weeks to complete the
job and it did. Throughout the five weeks Damien
always kept us informed and answered any question that we
had. It was exciting to see the job progressing on a
daily basis. After five weeks the job was done.
The detail and finish has been admired by many of our
friends and members of our family. Friends in the
construction industry made comments on the details of
Damien's finish. We love our basement and my
children especially like it as a place to hang with their
friends. I have already recommended Damien's company
to a friend who is looking to have her basement finished
and will continue to do so.
